Key Skills / Requirements
  • A B.Ed or PGCE (NQF Level 7); Honours degree in Education is a strong advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years\' experience as a Phase Head or Deputy Head in a primary education setting
  • SACE registration (valid certificate required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, administration systems, and school financial processes
  • Must be tech-savvy with an eye for modern educational tools
  • Strong communication, planning, problem-solving, and mentoring skills
  • Willingness to work extended hours and travel when necessary

  • What You’ll Be Responsible For:

     

    • Lead the academic, operational, and financial performance of the Primary School

    • Develop and implement strategic business plans aligned to learner targets and growth

    • Manage budgets, enrolments, marketing support, and ensure school-wide compliance

    • Drive curriculum planning, quality teaching, and assessment in line with Curro\'s educational vision

    • Maintain strong brand presence and foster parent and community relationships

    • Oversee discipline, pastoral care, and academic interventions

    • Play an active teaching role in the Foundation and Intermediate Phase

       

       

The successful candidate will start on 1 June 2025
